ABHISREE FOUNDATION is a registered social development organization founded by a group of individuals from various sectors, with a goal to “Make a Better Society” by empowering the poor and deprived communities. Geographically our organization is working in states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Our main focus is on the poor and downtrodden rural and urban youth with a special emphasis on women, persons with disabilities and tribal communities.

INTERVENTIONS
Our organization is majorly focusing on livelihood and capacity building of young people, women especially the PWDs who are poor and deprived of opportunities and resources. Our intervention includes market based skill trainings for young people and women especially Persons with Disabilities who are poor, marginalized and deprived of opportunities. We build capacities of the young people to be market ready for getting better livelihood opportunities to ensure a dignified life. Our other interventions are humanitarian assistance, women empowerment, disabled welfare and education for children.
Livelihood and Skill Development
Skill Training Centres: Towards creating opportunities of poor and marginalized young people especially, persons with disabilities. Our organization has established skill training centres at various locations. The objective of the skill training centres to train the youth in demand based market skills and to provide placements so that they can get a dignified job and live a dignified living. Our trainings include ITES-BPO, E-Commerce, Retail and Marketing. So far we have trained 950 young people by conducting 35 batches of various training courses and have placed 820 people in various institutions and multinational companies.
Women Empowerment
Self-Employment Promotion: This is theexclusive intervention for empowering the women to become self-sustain. The training cum self-employment promotion activity has provided hands on skills in Tailoring along with sewing machines to the trained women to earn their livelihoods. A total of 500 women have been provided with training and sewing machines.
Humanitarian Support
COVID-19 Humanitarian Support: The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in unemployment and hunger among the poor migrant and daily wage workers and tribal Chenchu communities living in the remotest forest locations of Nagarkurnool district. In view of addressing the huger issues of communities, ABHISREE FOUNDATION, has activated its volunteer base on the ground to identify the families who are dire need of ration supplies and other health related support. A total of 100 food kits have been distributed by visiting door steps of the beneficiaries along with linking them to hospitals for medication.
Flood Relief Activity: In the efforts of helping the flood affected people in Hyderabad, our organization has distributed 300 Food kits with the support of Smarthan Trust. The kits include dry ration, utensils, and blankets to the affected families which are sufficient for atleast one month.
Assistance to Persons with Disabilities
Aids and Appliance support: We have organized 4 Aids and Appliances Testing & Measurement Camps (AAT) camps followed by distribution of 40 wheel chairs, 150 crutches, 125 callipers, 225 orthopaedic shoes, 75 hand sticks and 96 walkers with the support of Association for Persons with Disabilities which is worth 37,50,000 cumulatively benefited to 711 PWDs.
News Room
- Job Mela conducted for the Persons with Disabilities….200 trained candidates participated and 73 candidates were selected for various jobs by the participating institutions and firms.
- Distributed 300 food kits to the flood affected families in Peerzadiguda on the hands of Smt. Chandrakala, Corporator, with the support of Samarthan Trust.
- On the occasion of birth anniversary of Savitri Bai Phule, trainees of our Skill Training Centre have conducted a seminar on empowerment of women with disabilities.
- TRRAINHer, 30 women were trained on Retail marketing and sales and were placed in various firms.
- Felicitation of Women Leaders who are working on the rights and entitlement of Women with Disabilities on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
- 717 Persons with disabilities were supported with Aids and Appliances distribution. Sri. Jakka Venkat Reddy, Hon’ble Mayor, Peerzadiguda, Municipal Corporation graced the occasion as chief guest along with other dignitaries’.
- Graduation Ceremony has been organized for 300 trainees graduated from our Skill Training Centre. Sri. K K Reddy Vasu Deva Reddy, Chairman, Telangana State Disabled Corporation and Sri. Kurra Shiva Kumar, Dy. Mayor, Peerzadiguda, along with President, Abhisree Foundation and other dignitaries.

Rajeshwari is a 22 year old 48% orthopedic disability hails from a poor family of 2 siblings, mother and father. Her mother works as daily wage labour and father was a lorry driver. With many hardships she could able to complete her intermediate and started searching for jobs but due to absences of any skills here attempts were failed. One day she saw a newspaper advertisement, inviting the eligible candidates for different courses published by ABHISREE FOUNDATION, which has changed the life of Rajeshwari from unskilled to skilled and jobs-less to job holder. She was enrolled into ITES-BPO course and got trained from expert faculties apart from special session on boosting self-confidence followed by linkages to placement. In only one attempt she could able to crack her job interview and got an offer as care taker in SIM AND SAM PLAY TOWN firm with a decent salary of Rs.7000/- per month.
From a helper to a Picker in Leading Online Supermarket
Gopi Srinivas Aade a speech impaired is one of the successful trainees of Retail Sales and Marketing course whose life has drastically changed from working as a helper in shoe shop to a multinational retail chain. This journey is not an easy for him but his commitment and support from his teacher has changed his life. Gopi hails from Gadchiroli District of Maharashtra, from a family of poor parents, his father was a blacksmith and mother is a home maker, despite the whole day’s hard work his family members could not able to lead a dignified life. With lot of hardships he could able to complete secondary schooling and learnt sign language in Adilabad town of Telangana. But due to pressure of supporting his family he could not able to go for higher education and started working as helper in shoe stores on a very less payment. One day his school teacher has shared him an advertisement published in social media and motivated Gopi make his career by learning skills. His teacher has extended a supporting had and brought him to Skill Training Centre of Abhisree Foundation in Hyderabad, where Gopi has interacted with other trainees and decided to join the Retail Sales and Marketing course. He was provided accommodation in our hostel and has completed course with dedication and provided placement as Picker in Big Basket (a leading online supermarket) on a salary of 14,500/- per month.

I am Bhagya Laxmi, my age is 20 years and residing in Rajapet mandal, Yadadri Bhuvangiri District. Few years back i was in a verge of ending my life, as due to some serious infections my left leg was amputated. I though all my dreams and aspirations have shattered. One day my father came to know about the training courses of ABHISREE FOUNDATION for the persons with disabilities. My father took me to the Peerzadiguda Skill Training Centre, where I found that there many girls like me who and it built my confidence and felt like I can achieve my aspirations. I have joined immediately in the ITES-BPO Course and got a homely accommodation at the Training Centre. The faculty members were very good and always supported me by clarifying my doubts motivated me through personality development courses. After completion of training, I was provided with opportunity to participate in Job Mela and got selected a job in CYTOMOL LABS as a Data Entry Operatoron a salary of Rs.9,000/- per month. When I informed parents, they felt very happy.
